Having a large house when the power goes out is scary. It's just so dark, you can't see anything, it's like the set of a haunted house. Hopefully it's back on in the morning. All my neighbors have no power too, so at least I'm not the only one.

Blackouts suck big time. But not all the time. Last time I had to deal with that was when the whole city lost power a few years ago. Lucky for me, traffic was so bad I couldn't make it down the street. So, decided to stay at work. Turns out we had power and internet access in our data center. Plus, they fed us all the ice cream we could eat since in the cafeteria since it was melting anyway. I watched MNF for a while. By the time I did leave, the streets were pretty much deserted. Great time for some serious hoonage... Just too damn dark to see anything.
